It is without a doubt that Mr Satyadas saved my husband's life. My husband's surgery involved the removal of a complex life threatening pancreatic tumour. My husband, Derek, would not be alive to-day, 2 years later, without the skill and expertise of Mr Satyadas. Mr Satyadas is a perfect gentleman and treated us with the utmost respect and sensitivity in a very difficult and bewildering circumstance. He gave us his full attention and unlimited time to discuss the surgery entailed. My husband remained in hospital for 4 weeks following surgery and Mr Satyadas visited him virtually every night, following up on his recovery. Mr Satyadas is a dedicated surgeon and a caring individual and the NHS should feel proud and grateful that such a man works for them.

I find Thomas to be a very caring person who explained everything thoroughly in a way I could understand. He kept myself and my family informed exactly on what was involved in my Whipple surgery. After my diagnosis he did not pressure me into committing to the surgery but along with his colleagues he provided me with the information to make my decision. We have known Thomas for some time now and would like to thank him and his staff for all their kindness and honesty throughout the time of my illness. I am now 10 weeks on from my surgery and progressing well

Not only is Thomas really kind and considerate, there's no one else I would have trusted to operate on me. I've spent 2 years under the care of him and every part he has kept me and my family well informed, listened to what I wanted and supported me to make decisions. Thomas' bedside manner is second to none and I can't recommend him enough. I have had to have two surgical procedures and he did the first and I requested him for the second. Amazing man. He speaks to me on a level that I understand without the dr jargon and puts me at ease in really difficult situations. There is absolutely nothing I believe Thomas could improve on!!

My sister Elaine is under the care of Mr Satyadas and we her family have total faith in him as her doctor, the first part of her operation went really well, she is currently waiting an available HDU bed for the second part, this Doctor goes out of his way to put you at ease and to ensure not just his patient but the whole family is kept informed and explains everything to you fully, he has called my sister whilst she has been recovering from the first part of her op and she and we trust him 200% he restores your faith in the NHS. We Elaine's family cannot thank or praise this gentleman enough..

Having read all the reviews I must say I'm in complete agreement with others experience.Mr Satyadas performed laparoscopic surgery on a particularly large double hernia I'd had for about three years and although it pales into relative insignificance compared to the life threatening surgery performed on other reviewers I recieved the same exceptionally high level of care and attention.Mr S explained in great detail the cause of and the surgical procedure to be performed,he visited me personally the morning after and nothing was too much trouble.I saw him again for a follow up appointment the other day and he remembered the conversations we had ,I felt like I was visiting a friend.I really can't speak too highly of this dedicated gentleman and strongly recommend him to all.
